Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about us
No! We welcome complete beginners. We are experienced in teaching first-time riders and will ensure you feel safe and comfortable. We'll teach you everything from how to approach and handle the horse to basic riding skills.
Wear long pants (jeans or jodhpurs), closed-toe shoes with a small heel (riding boots are ideal but not required initially), and comfortable clothes you can move in. We provide helmets that meet safety standards. Avoid loose clothing or jewelry.
We accept riders from age 8 and up for regular lessons. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who remains on-site during the lesson. For those below 8 we have the "Play time with Tink' program designed specifically for young children.
You can book online through our booking system, call us directly, or send us an email. For your first lesson, we recommend calling so we can discuss your goals and answer any questions. Online booking is perfect once you're a regular student.
